COURSE LIST

  • Access Management – 2 Weeks
  • This course introduces the fundamentals of authentication mechanisms as related to access controls and internetwork trust architectures, identity management lifecycle and access controls. Students will learn various authentication mechanism implementations and access control implementations. Students will apply what they learn in various exercises.
  • Security Operations and Management – 2 Weeks
  • This course introduces fundamental concepts and notions of security concepts, code of ethics, security controls, asset management and control compliance. Students are exposed to change management, security awareness training and physical security operations. Students will apply what they learn in various exercises.
  • Risk Management – 2 Weeks
  • This course introduces risk management notions and techniques. Students will gain a basic understanding and awareness of risk management process, security assessment activities, monitoring systems and analyze of monitoring results. Students will apply what they learn in various exercises.
  • Incident Response and Recovery – 2 Weeks
  • This course addresses fundamental concepts and notions of incident response and recovery. In addition, incident handling, forensic investigations support and business continuity will be covered. Students will apply what they learn in various exercises.
  • Network and Communication Security – 2 Weeks
  • This course introduces fundamental concepts of network security. Students are exposed to network security issues, telecommunication technologies, network access, LAN-based security, network-based security device configurations and wireless technologies. Students will apply what they learn in various exercises.
  • Security Management – 2 Weeks
  • This course introduces the fundamentals of cryptography and security as related to computer security. Students are exposed to concepts of cryptography, secure protocols and cryptographic systems implementation. In addition, malicious code, endpoint device security, cloud security, secure big data systems and virtual environment security will be covered. Students will apply what they learn in various exercises.
