As a student of the Immigration Consultant On-line Program of Herzing College, I acquired the knowledge, skills and proper work ethics that helped me a lot in my chosen field. Towards the end of my program, I gained internship at a busy, respectable law firm that provided me a hands-on experience. From Day 1, I was given immigration client files to work on my own with less supervision. From spousal sponsorship to IAD appeal and exception to Conditional PR. Thanks to my Herzing professors who prepared me for all these. They did not just impart their knowledge and experiences but also provided advice about dealing with clients and immigration officers. I got the trust and confidence of my host company and its immigration clients. I am so grateful that MVN Law Professional Corporation hired me as an immigration assistant after I graduated last February 2016.
I am a recent Graduate of the June 2017 Paralegal program -- Toronto Campus. I had the opportunity to attend the Paralegal Preparatory Exam Course, September 25th to October 6th, 2017, which was instructed by Charles Mwewa. Prior to completing this preparatory course, I did not feel confident nor capable in my ability to write the P1 Licensing exam on October 17, 2017. My lack of confidence was transformed into resolve, assurance, and surety that I had what it took to be successful. Charles’ method and unique approach to delivering knowledge, assisted in producing a Candidate that was more than ready to pass this exam but, one who could conquer it without fear or doubt in their ability. If it were not for Charles’ instruction and his Preparatory course, I would not have been able to share the great news that I PASSED my Paralegal Licensing Exam. I owe much of this success to him. Providing a glowing recommendation, seems like the very least I could do for someone who has helped change my life; and achieve great success in such a difficult task. I have taken the time to share my appreciation with Mr. Mwewa and I hope you can do the same; as you have a wonderful instructor in your midst.
