ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS

The following are necessary to be enrolled in the program:

  1. 2 years of post-secondary education (or equivalent);or 2 years of related work experience
  2. Pass an aptitude evaluation
  3. Be interviewed in detail regarding interest in the field

GRADUATION CRITERIA

In order to qualify for a diploma, a student must reach the following levels of proficiency:

  1. Complete a minimum of 24 semester credit hours of study
  2. A minimum grade of D (60%) in any subject attempted
  3. A minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average of 2.0 (70%)

NOTE

Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council (http://www.iccrc-crcic.ca) requirements are:

  1. Proof of language ability (choose one).  Accredited language tests and required scores are as follows:
  • ENGLISH: IELTS-A: 7.5 listening, 6.5 for writing, speaking, and reading
  • ENGLISH: CanTEST: 4.5 for speaking and 4 for listening, reading and writing
  • ENGLISH: CELPIP-G: 8 for speaking, listening, reading & writing
  • ENGLISH: CAEL: overall band score of 70
  • FRENCH: TEF: (please refer to ICCRC registration guide)
  • FRENCH: SEL: (please refer to ICCRC registration guide)
