The Herzing Educational Assistance Program (H.E.A.P.) has been developed to help organizations improve the skill level of their workforce, create a culture of engagement by supporting employee professional growth initiatives, and offer an educational benefit to employees and their families.
- Personal & Immediate Family Scholarship: A scholarship for a 15% reduction in tuition for each employee and their immediate family members.
- Extended Family Scholarship: A scholarship for a 10% reduction in tuition to any other employee relatives.
- Free subject matter webinars: presented by Herzing Educational System faculty/staff when provided.
- Credit for prior learning: We will validate and recognize select corporate sponsored training for academic credits.
- Flexible payment options: We offer a variety of payment options to reduce financial stress and lower overall loan balances.
- Waived enrollment fee (no application fee): No cost previous college credits evaluated for acceptance, and we waive the application fee.
Herzing College campuses work closely with top local and regional employers to ensure that Herzing programs encompass the skills and knowledge needed for our students to succeed at the next level. Our Career Development department provides students with the training and employment resources they need to successfully find employment.

Kompass Professional Development
Kompass is the professional development arm of Herzing College and a division of Herzing Institutes of Canada. Our user-friendly online professional development courses are designed to work with your busy schedule and allow you to complete your course when it’s convenient for you. In today's ever evolving, competitive job market, employees that commit to ongoing training and improvements are in demand.
We provide students with a team of support in admissions, academics and 24/7/365 technical support. Many of our courses offer optional weekly live sessions with your instructor and classmates, giving you the opportunity to ask questions and get involved in discussions.
Pre-Apprenticeship Training Institute
PAT graduates leave the training facility with current technical and safety training, industry standard tools and safety gear, saving both the student and the employer additional costs at the beginning of their career. Graduates' careers will lead into a multitude of options and pathways a few of which are: working in the trades, owning their own businesses, becoming trades inspectors, engineering, or teaching.Pre-Apprenticeship Training Institute is where CLAC Union, Merit Ontario, Ontario Electrical League and Progressive Contractors Association train. Students are trained by industry professionals to meeting today’s’ construction standards.
The Pre-Apprenticeship Training Institute is the only trainer in Ontario whose graduates qualify for the Open Shop Job Board at www.4openshop.ca, removing many of the barriers to employment, by connecting graduates with employers who are hiring.
