–Textbook required: all materials provided.–This course will explore the realities of aging in Canada, from demographics and social determinants of health to quality of life and end-of-life care. You’ll examine the biological changes of aging in different body systems, delve into the diverse experiences of older adults, and gain practical knowledge on promoting well-being and supporting those nearing the end of life. The course will also address the evolving family structure and its impact on seniors, and explore the often-overlooked topic of sexual health in older adults.
