Administrative Assistant Job Description

Administrative assistants work well under pressure, have a sharp eye for detail, and are particularly skilled organizers. Although their specific duties may vary depending on the setting in which they work, administrative assistants are typically responsible for the following tasks:

• Coordination, filtering and forwarding of email, telephone and other communications entering the company or department
• Inventory management
• Appointment booking and confirmation for the employer
