Medical Laboratory Assistant Internship Testimonials
Herzing College made going to school easy, interesting and fun. I had an Instructor that truly cared about how well I did in her class and an internship where I feel was the best possible placement for me. Many schools lose interest in their students as soon as the tuition cheque is cashed; at Herzing, the staff guide you through the entire process and help you all the way from enrolment to preparing a resume and getting ready for interviews. I feel that my time at Herzing has given me the confidence to go into a new career with a great amount of knowledge and professionalism.

This program has prepared me for the future by giving me a career that I can look forward to every day. I loved the school and the people and it has just made it easier for me to get up and go every day. I would do it all over again if I had to, and I would recommend it to anyone and everyone. I feel like the school has given me the confidence to move on to a new great life with my family. This was the best choice I have ever made.

I feel that the Herzing course and my internship have given me a sold basis to secure a position as a Laboratory Assistant. I feel confident in performing phlebotomy. I’m thrilled that I’ve taken the MLA course – it’s given me an excellent skill set that someone who didn’t take the course would not have. Thank you to Francine Levitt and all the staff at Herzing for being so wonderful.

What I carry with me from Herzing College has already affected the way I think and breathe. I have confidence in myself. I now know that I can and will succeed in anything I am faced with in the future to come. The academic portion prepared me mentally for my future as a medical professional and the internship opened my eyes to see how happy I am with the decision I made when I enrolled as a student at Herzing College.

The academic program at Herzing College prepared me for knowledge on protecting myself (needle punctures/glasses for safety). It provided me with a great communication course for dealing with team members and patients as well as telephone manners. Both the academic and internship have prepared me with skills I have gained with confidence through many sessions of practice of phlebotomy, people skills and use of equipment. Herzing College has prepared me to be a reliable Medical Laboratory Assistant in a professional manner and to provide patients with accurate results.

My academic program and internship at Herzing College has given me employment, made me self-sufficient, raised my self-confidence level, has made me a better role model for my six year old daughter and has made it possible to bring my standard of living to the next level. My determination to buy a house is that much stronger than before I started my training with Herzing College.

The academic and internship parts of my training gave me the training and confidence I need to find a job and be successful in any area of a lab I might find myself in. Every area of this program can be put to use in a future job. Graduating from this program will be a great help in securing a job in my chosen profession.

The academic program has given me the basics, knowledge, assertiveness and the hands-on experience to move me forward into internship. Internship has given me the opportunity to experience real life scenarios in working in a lab setting to better prepare me for a future and reaching my goal to work as a Lab Tech Assistant.
