Healthcare Aides provide critical health care services to patients in hospitals, nursing homes, and other health care facilities. They assist nurses, hospital staff, and physicians in the basic care of patients. Basic care includes a range of duties covering everything from making beds and maintaining patients' rooms to operating health care equipment. Healthcare Aides can be found working in hospitals, nursing homes, and private residences, as well as other health care facilities. Other job titles can include nurse aide and patient care aide.
