This program provides students with hands-on training in business analysis, database management, accounting software used by Canadian employers, and NEBS PAYweb. Areas of study include accounting principles and practices, computerized accounting, payroll administration, spreadsheets and data management. Graduates will be Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) candidates and eligible to apply for PCP certification once they fulfill one year PCP work experience.
Graduates from this program will be prepared to successfully complete the following courses, which are required for obtaining employment in the Mutual Funds, Insurance and Securities industries.
Program length: 10 months (25 hours/week, M-F)
