Instructor Led vs. Instructor Supported Format
This certificate program offers two convenient online delivery options to best accommodate busy schedules.
(Condensed Course) – 12 Weeks
Instructor led courses follow a class schedule with a dedicated Instructor and classmates. The Instructor posts weekly discussions and hosts live sessions via conference call where students can discuss assignments, industry topics etc. with their peers. The live sessions are recorded and archived for reference. The Instructor led option has a heavier workload upfront but offers increased engagement, opportunity for discussion and encourage students to complete the course within a shorter time frame. Tuition for the certificate must be paid in full within the twelve week time period. Students can enter into an Instructor Led program at set start dates on approximately a monthly basis.
(Extended Course) – 3-6 Months
Instructor supported courses come with the support of a dedicated Instructor but do not follow a set class schedule. Students work at their own pace to complete the course within a six month time period. The Instructor has pre-recorded lectures that are available for students to review. Students can call into weekly live sessions via conference call with the Instructor Led student sessions but the topics may not align with where they currently are in their coursework. The Instructor supported option offers students continued support from a dedicated instructor with the flexibility to complete the certificate over a longer period of time. Tuition for the certificate must be paid in full within the first three months.
