Message from the Director of Financial Aid
In 2006 I attended the Ottawa campus of Herzing College and graduated from the Business Management Program. While I was a student here, I was also working as a part-time receptionist outside of my classroom hours. Upon completion of my program I accepted a full time position as a receptionist. Less than a year later, I became the Registrar for Herzing College.
A short time later, I was promoted to the Director of Financial Services. I have been working at Herzing College since 2007 and have gained valuable skills and knowledge throughout my experience here. I have also attended training by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities as well as the Ontario Association of Career Colleges.
In the Financial Services Department, we assist students in securing their funding and/or loans, as well as assure their tuition payments are in place. We process OSAP applications and ensure that students have their funding secured before commencing their studies. We take the time to clear up all financial questions and build a plan with the student to ensure that there are no financial surprises after classes begin.
We look forward to helping you reach your educational goals!
