Student Advising
Getting started on your future career is exciting. We provide support services to assist you in working through concerns that might impact your success at the College. While attending Herzing College you have access to a professional staff with your best interest in mind. We are committed to your academic and personal success. If you have an issue or problem that may interfere with your ability to be successful in school, you should speak to your Admissions Advisor, who will give you advice or refer you to another staff member best suited to help you.
Orientation
All new students are encouraged to attend orientation. There you will be warmly greeted by the Academic Dean, Campus President and Career Services. Along with obtaining the student handbook and other important documents, the staff will do a presentation to make you familiar with all aspects of student life at the campus. Any concerns or questions that you have can be fully addressed. Your photo will be taken after orientation so your student ID will be ready for you on the first day of class. It is our wish that you leave the orientation feeling very confident and ready to start your program at Herzing.
Registrar’s Office
The registrar at Herzing College is responsible for making sure all grades are entered. Reports will be sent to you on a regular basis. Transcripts will be generated and forwarded when requested. The registrar works closely with the Academic Dean making sure students receive the full level of service they deserve.
Special Accommodations
Should you require any special accommodations due to disability or injury, please let your Admissions Advisor know prior to submitting your admissions application. This early attention will help ensure everything is in place prior to your first day of class.
Assessment Services for Prior Learning
With submission of a post secondary transcript you may be eligible for advance standing. Upon request our Academic Dean will review your transcript, comparing it to our curriculum and let your Admissions Advisor know what you may or may not be exempt from.
General Student Services
Students can pay all fees, update student records, receive student photo ID cards, obtain Go Train discount application, and be directed to other Student Services from our front desk reception.
Discount Club
Students, save money on purchases with Herzing's Student Savers Club. As Savers Club member, Herzing students can receive discounts on goods and services all across the country.
