One of the concerns for individuals returning to school is the issue of financing their tuition. Most of our students qualify for some form of financial aid, this assistance can include student loans from the Ministry of Education, or a personalized line of credit from the Bank of Montreal.
Government Loans
Student loans from the provincial government for those who qualify include several advantages:
- Up to 90% of tuition can be covered.
- Interest free until completion of training.
- Flexible repayment schedule (10 years)
- Up to 40% of interest paid is tax deductible.
- Preferential interest rates.
Brain Money Program (Bank of Montreal)
Herzing students can benefit from the following:
- Interest only line of credit.
- Up to $20,000.
- Flexible repayment schedule (7 years).
- Can supplement government student loans.

As the Director of Financial Services and Administration at Herzing College, I have had the pleasure of helping students achieve their academic goals since joining the organization 24 years ago. My background in management has helped me put in place professional and ethical procedures and instill in my staff the importance of their role in helping our students have the most productive experience possible.
I have always felt that the best investment that you can make is the one in yourself and there is no better way to show this than in acquiring a sound education. Nothing will prepare you more for a lifetime of success. Helping students find the financial solutions they need to take the first step towards their new path and helping them navigate some of the financial realities of financing their education is what makes our job so rewarding.
One of the main concerns for individuals returning to school is the issue of financing their education. This is well understood at Herzing College and we seek to help whenever we can by working with various financial aid programs instituted by Le Ministere de l’education du Québec. It is important for all students to understand that the Financial services department is ready to help and answer any questions they may have.
